Is edzproctor a separate proctoring service?
No. It’s a native Moodle quiz access rule that runs inside your own LMS. There’s no external SaaS, no separate login, and no per-exam fee — you enable it per quiz under “Extra restrictions on attempts”.
Where are the webcam images stored?
In your own Moodledata, on your own server. Nothing is sent to a third-party cloud. That’s what makes edzproctor a strong fit for India data residency and DPDP/GDPR compliance.
What can it detect?
Face absent, multiple faces, tab switching, exiting fullscreen, copy/paste, low light and a blocked camera — all in real time in the browser. Each attempt gets a colour-coded Trust Score, and optional face-match identity verification is available on-premises.
How do teachers review exams?

Is it privacy-compliant?

Does it need special hardware or a lockdown browser?
No lockdown-browser download is required — it works in a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) over HTTPS with a webcam. Mobile/tablet access can be blocked and fullscreen required for added integrity.
