Quick Answer

edzlms does not publish a price list. Every quote is built from eight factors: the number of learners, which products and AI features you need, your hosting region (India or the EU), branding and mobile apps, integrations, customisation, content development or migration, and the support level you want. Book a free demo and we send a written quote that lists each factor that applies to you.

Key takeaways

  • edzlms has no public price list; each quote is built for your organisation.
  • Eight factors shape the quote, from number of learners to support level.
  • You only include the products and AI features you will use.
  • Hosting in India or the EU, with in-region backups, is part of the scoping.
  • Integrations, customisation and content work are listed separately so you can see what each adds.
  • A free demo and short scoping call lead to a written quote.

Why doesn't edzlms publish a price list?

Because two organisations with the same number of learners rarely need the same thing. A bank rolling out compliance training in Hindi and Tamil, with Gelato AI roleplay for branch staff and data hosted in India, needs a different setup from a university in Italy that wants proctored exams and EU hosting. A single price list would either overcharge one of them or leave out what the other needs.

So every edzlms quote is built from a short scoping conversation. This page explains exactly what we ask about, so you can prepare and compare quotes on the same basis.

What determines the cost of edzlms?

Eight factors shape every quote. Not all of them apply to every organisation.

FactorWhat we askWhy it matters
1. LearnersHow many people will use the platform, and how many admins, managers and trainers.Sets the size of the environment, support load and reporting needs.
2. Products and AI featuresWhich parts you need: the edzlms platform, Gelato AI roleplay, Ed Studio, edzproctor, Frontline Training, the AI study tutor. You only include what you will use.
3. Hosting regionIndia (AWS Mumbai or other India-based providers) or the EU (Hetzner or AWS Europe, Milan).Data residency, DPDP or GDPR needs, and in-region backups.
4. Branding and appsWhite-label branding, your own domain, and whether you want a branded iOS and Android mobile app.Branded apps and custom domains add setup work.
5. IntegrationsSingle sign-on, HRMS or CRM sync through APIs, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, SMS and WhatsApp notifications. Each integration is scoped and tested with your systems.
6. CustomisationCustom workflows, reports, dashboards or features built for you.Custom development is scoped separately from the standard platform.
7. Content and migrationWhether you need course development, translation or localisation, or courses and learner records moved from another system.Content work depends on volume, format and languages.
8. Support levelWho supports your admins and learners, response times, training for your team, and account management.More hands-on support takes more of our team's time.

Which products can be included in an edzlms quote?

A quote can cover one product or several. Many organisations start with the platform and add AI roleplay or proctoring for specific programmes. See edzlms at a glance for a summary of each product.

Does hosting in India or the EU change the quote?

It can. India-hosted sites run on AWS Mumbai or other India-based providers and keep backups in India in line with the DPDP Act. EU-hosted sites run on Hetzner or AWS Europe (Milan) and keep backups in the EU. The region you need, and any specific security or compliance requirements, are part of the scoping. edzlms is ISO 27001 certified; see the security page.

How do integrations and customisation affect the quote?

Standard connections such as single sign-on or video meetings are usually quick to set up. Syncing with your HRMS or CRM, building custom reports, or adding features specific to your workflow takes more scoping, so we list each one separately in the quote. That way you can see what each requirement adds and decide what is worth doing now.

What should you prepare before asking for a quote?

Five things that make the scoping call short and the quote accurate.

1. Estimate your users

Rough numbers of learners, admins, managers and trainers, now and in a year.

2. List the programmes

Onboarding, compliance, sales or service practice, exams, frontline training: what you want to run first.

3. Note where data must live

India, the EU, or a specific requirement from your security or compliance team.

4. List the systems to connect

Single sign-on, HRMS, CRM, video meetings, SMS or WhatsApp.

5. Gather sample content

One SOP, policy or training deck we can use in the demo, plus any courses you want moved.

Comparing LMS quotes?

Ask every vendor to list the same eight factors: users, products and AI features, hosting region, branding and apps, integrations, customisation, content and migration, and support. Quotes are only comparable when they cover the same scope.

How do you get an edzlms quote?

Questions buyers ask

How much does edzlms cost?

edzlms does not publish a price list. Each quote is built around your situation: the number of learners, the products and AI features you need, your hosting region, branding, integrations, customisation, content needs and support level. Book a free demo to get a written quote.

Why is there no public price for edzlms?

Organisations with the same number of learners often need very different setups, for example different products, languages, hosting regions and integrations. A quote based on your actual needs is fairer than a one-size price list.

What information do I need to get an edzlms quote?

The approximate number of learners and admins, which products you are interested in, where your data must be hosted, which systems you want to connect, whether you need content created or migrated, and the support you expect.

Does hosting in India or the EU change the edzlms quote?

It can. edzlms hosts in India (AWS Mumbai or other India-based providers) or in the EU (Hetzner or AWS Europe, Milan), with backups kept in the same region. The region and any compliance requirements are part of the scoping.

Can an edzlms quote include course content?

Yes. Course development, translation and localisation, and migration from another system can all be included and are listed separately in the quote.

Is there a free trial of Gelato AI?

Yes. A free trial of Gelato AI, the edzlms AI roleplay engine, is available on request. Contact the edzlms team to set one up with your own scenario.
