Synchronous Learning

Synchronous learning is any form of learning that happens in real time, with learners and instructors participating together at the same moment — such as live webinars, virtual classrooms, video conferences or in-person classes. It enables immediate questions, discussion and feedback, and builds a sense of cohort and accountability. Its trade-off is scheduling: everyone must be available simultaneously, which can be challenging across time zones or shift-based workforces.
