Immersive Learning

Immersive learning uses technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), 360-degree video and realistic simulations to place learners inside lifelike environments where they can practise skills experientially. By engaging more senses and creating a sense of presence, immersive learning is especially effective for hands-on, high-stakes or hard-to-replicate scenarios — operating machinery, emergency response, clinical procedures or difficult conversations. Learners remember what they do far better than what they merely read or watch, and immersive practice provides safe, repeatable rehearsal. AI-driven roleplay, such as EdzLMS's Gelato, offers a form of immersive conversational practice without the need for headsets.
