Extended Enterprise Learning

Extended enterprise learning is training delivered to audiences outside an organisation's own employees — such as customers, channel partners, resellers, franchisees, contractors and members. Unlike internal L&D, which focuses on staff development, extended enterprise programmes aim to drive product adoption, partner certification, brand consistency, compliance across a network, and even new revenue when training is sold. It brings distinct requirements: the ability to serve many separate audiences from one platform, often with their own branding and content, plus self-registration, e-commerce, and reporting segmented by organisation. This is where multi-tenant and white-label capabilities become important, because a manufacturer might train hundreds of dealers who should each see only their own portal. Getting it right extends a company's influence well beyond its walls. edzlms supports extended-enterprise scenarios through multi-tenant, white-label Moodle deployments suited to partner, customer and franchise training.
