A Learning Management System (LMS) is a software platform used to create, deliver, manage, and track training and eLearning programmes. It serves as the central hub for all learning activities within an organisation — from onboarding new employees to delivering compliance training and upskilling entire departments.

An LMS connects three groups: administrators who manage courses, trainers who create content, and learners who complete it.
